West Seattle SummerFest Performance 2025

Main Performance

MAIN PERFORMANCE

Since 2017, I’ve been creating powerful, dynamic, and inclusive choreography for dancers ranging from their early 20s to their late 60s. Almost every year—minus the COVID years—our performances have lit up West Seattle Summer Fest, and we’re ready to bring that energy back again!

I’m looking for dancers of all levels—from complete beginners to seasoned performers, teens through adults—who are excited to bring performance energy, a teamwork attitude, and a willingness to stay flexible throughout the creative process. Our performances have become a favorite at the street fair, and I’d love for you to be part of it.

Sessions last 90 minutes and increase in frequency during the final 2–3 weeks before the performances.

Rehearsals will be held in West Seattle on Sundays and Seattle to accommodate dancers from across the city.

$25 registration fee to join.

Rehearsal fees: $14–$20 per session, structured like a dance class—so if you need to step away, you’re only paying for the time you’ve spent learning.

Costumes

We aim to keep costume costs low and accessible, sourcing from Amazon, thrift stores, or your closet whenever possible.

However, this year’s concept may be a little more extravagant, so expect something fun and visually striking!

Saturday daytime performance

Arrive 2 hours before showtime for run-throughs and final prep.

The Creative Process

This is a living, evolving performance, meaning choreography, formations, and even storyline elements may shift as we refine the show. That means:

Be ready to adapt. Your spot might change, a section may be cut, or something new might be added on the fly.

Stay open and flexible. The goal is to create an unforgettable audience experience—and that requires constant fine-tuning!

All comms are handled through a Facebook group. It is easier that way.

If you do not have FB, please partner with someone who can fill you in on missing details.

Thanks!

FAQs

Totally common. Just let me know the amount, and we can most likely work with your schedule. You don’t have to be at all the rehearsals! Just as many as you can, depending on your skill level.

I’ll find a spot for you.

EASY ENCORE PERFORMANCE

This is for our friends who really want to take part, but can’t make a light time commitment.

There will be little to No formations in this segment. Meant to be the community jumping in and having fun!
